Labor power is the most important wealth of the company. Southernpec adheres to the talent development strategy, vigorously promotes the people-oriented philosophy, persists in the personnel training policy of internal cultivation and external introduction, and by means of a sound training mechanism and career development path, provides employees with harmonious, and adequate room for personal development.

In recent years, Southernpec has actively promoted the specialized and elite-oriented strategy of talents, and through various channels, introduced a large number of high-end talents. Since 2002, it has provided the society with about 6,000 jobs on the accumulative basis, and the total number of employees increased to present 2000 from 8 at the beginning, with the number and proportion of employees with high education backgrounds and high titles increasing dramatically.
From 2008, it has conducted close cooperation with the higher institutions in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu and Xiamen, and recruits some trainees to enter the “Rookie Training Camp” for a period of 3-6 months training, providing the majority of fresh graduates with a cause platform for the ideal of life. Youth workforce plays an ever-increasing role in management of the company, and reserve and team building of personnel creates favorable conditions for future development of the company. Moreover, the Corporation is used as the teaching practice base of Guangdong University of Finance, Guangzhou Engineering Technical Institute and other local colleges and universities to provide college students with internship and employment opportunities.
